Take Time

Our lives these days have become increasingly busy. We say we do not have time, yet we find ourselves adding more to our schedules. We have more deadlines, more responsibilities, and more commitments. We often find ourselves weary by our own hand.

I have had opportunity for some down time the last few days. I have rolled around in the floor with my kids. Played with a “loopty loop track,” and tickled my little girl until she giggles. I have done this for hours. It has been awesome.

Take some advice from someone who has spent more than 24 years of his life in school or training. Spending time with those who love you most is important. Down time is important. While you cannot neglect your job, your schooling or your responsibilities, you can consciously make a decision to invest your time in people and those who love you most. There are things that can wait. The wrestling and giggles are worth more money than I could make in a lifetime.\
