What Thanksgiving Means to Me

Over the several years that have gone by, I've always thought Thanksgiving was just to get together with your family, eat turkey dinner and catch up with other family members that we hadn't seen in a while. Over the last few years I've really came to realize that Thanksgiving isn't just about having fun with your family and eating dinner but also thanking God for giving us a wonderful life to spend with our loved ones; bringing families together to really see what a wonderful world God made for us and to pray to Him, thanking Him and trusting Him at what He calls us to do in our life. So when you are off for your Thanksgiving break, think back deep in your heart and ask “are you giving thanks to God?”
