My Prayer as a Student

Dear Lord,

College is getting ready to start again

and with that comes excitement and anxiety.

I will meet new friends and hopefully

strengthen my current friendships.

I pray that You will guide me and

use me to bring people closer to You.

Because it is not about me,

it is all about You.

Please help me to stay focused with my studies.

Let me not lose sight of my goal. But most importantly,

let me not lose sight of You.

Jesus, you are amazing and I want

You to be involved in everything I do.

Please help me not to be distracted.

I want everything I do to glorify You.

Stress will come with all the exams and research,

but do not let me forget that You are the solid rock

upon which I stand.

Jesus, You will allow me to overcome all the stress.

You are holding onto me!

Thank You Jesus! For all that You have done!

When I am filled with anxiety,

I can rest on the fact that You have saved me

and paid my debt. I am forever Yours!

Though temptations may come,

I know You will provide a way out.

Your strength is made perfect in my weakness.

Jesus, this semester I will be diving into some

very complex sciences. Let them strengthen my faith

as I am amazed by how awesome Your power

has been displayed in the universe.

Thank You! Thank You! You have provided

me a place of refuge. How amazing You are!

Please allow me the opportunity to share with

others how incredible You are and how we cannot comprehend

Your love for us.

Thank You GOD!
